Buyer beware: there is no return on TRENDnet 2-Port KVM KVM. After having several KVMs, my warning is to stay away from TRENDnet 2-Port KVM one! On the first set of computers I used it on, in addition to the keyboard and mouse not working on one computer, the Scroll Lock hot key disabled the up-scroll feature of the mouse on the other computer. On the second set of computers, I finally had to plug a separate keyboard in. Don't buy.

I've had this product for almost a year and it has worked great for me. I upgraded to a new pc running Windows Vista however my old pc running Windows 98 still worked like a charm. I was not goping to trash my old faithful pc that I have had for almost 10 years now. With this KVM Switch I can use my old pc as a game pc and I can use it to log onto the internet and as a storage pc. The Trendnet KVM switch makes it easy to switch between both pc's. I am getting ready to purchase the Trendnet KVM switch that supports multi media/audio. This current switch only supports the audo sound on my pc that I use as #1. I need to generate sound from my second pc as well. Thanks Trendnet for making a product that's easy to install and fun and convenient to use.

Had the same result as previous buyer irrated. Bought this KVM only worked on 1 computer, also frose up my scroll lock. Ended up having to plug in a separate mouse and keyboard. In addition TrendNet Tech support blamed my computer for the problem. I purchased Iogears KVM and it worked Great. Don't buy this one, spend the extra, it's not worth the money you save in time.

Ordered this the other day and it arrived really fast (thanks, TD!). Hooked it up between a Windows XP and a Windows Vista computer and it works like a charm. I've only used the buttons on the unit and not the hot keys, so can't tell anyone how those have worked, but for this money it's been great. It's made setting up the new computer (Vista) much easier as I can almost instantly switch back to the old computer to confirm information or to download data to a compact flash drive for transfer. I'm very glad I bought this.

I just bought this product for my Personal Computer running windows vista, and my server computer running windows 2000. I just installed it today and I love it a lot. Unfortunately the cables aren't very long at all. also, the design of the device seems cheap, seems fragile. But no complaints really. Working Great So far!!! What can i expect TRENDnet 2-Port KVM was only 20 dollars! Great buy!
