Item is bad don't buy!! video & sound worked for both pcs but the keyboard only would work for 1, when switched keyboard would lockup for second pc.. Useless!! Called cust support I tried everything they suggested switching cables etc. nothing worked. Tiger was great as usual ordered 3 PM and received next day at noon standard ground (I live in the UPS circle of love)

Bought TRENDnet 2-Port KVM unit for it's ease of use. Got it home and would not work with Windows Vista though trendnet says it does. Returned it to trendnet because they said TRENDnet 2-Port KVM was bad. Got the second one and it would not even power up. What a piece of junk.

Bought two of these because I had bought three of their TK-200 switches which worked great a year ago. Neither of these TK-208 switches worked at all. Wasted a lot of time trying to find out what was wrong. Do not buy these. How can two out of two not work? Will buy more of the TK-200 switches.

I am always working on somebody's computer and having to switch back and forth between mine and the one i'm working on. So i bought TRENDnet 2-Port KVM unit to stop having to switch the monitor and speakers back and forth. The unit works great. I noticed that alot of the reveiws have issues with either the sound or keyboard and mouse, but i've yet to have any problems. Just have to make sure you follow the initial hookup and powerup procedures.

I'm running Windows XP on my old computer and Windows Vista on my new computer. I put one computer in the desk and the other one beside the desk. Hooked them up to the KVM Switch and everything works fine. It's easy to switch back and forth between computers using the hot keys so the unit is behind the desk on the floor out of sight. I've been using it for over a week now, maybe a couple weeks. One time i switched to the second computer and the mouse wouldn't work. I restarted the computer and it worked fine, obviously this didn't necessarily have anything to do with the KVM Switch. I would recommend this product to anyone.
