I LOVE IT!!!! Yeah, it's heavy and the battery doesn't really last that long, but I still take it everywhere I go. I upgraded to 4gb of RAM, 7200 RPM HDDs and Vista Ultimate. With Vista Ultimate, I was able to set up a striped RAID with the two hard drives (there's no hardware RAID support) and my notebook is faster than most desktops. My 3DMark06 score is 9000 and my PCMark05 score is 6200. The biggest surprise was the processor. It's not the best in the line, so I was sceptical. I was wrong, it's fast. Processor scores 2100 on 3DMark06. I have the processor set at 20 percent on battery and I can actually get almost 2 hours out of it (with wireless on and brightness at 40% and SLI off). I haven't played a game yet with the settings on anything other than all the way up, including antialiasing at 16x quincunxed. The speaker system, as well, is surprising. It is a laptop, so they aren't great sounding or anything, but they sound better than any laptop I've ever seen. Buy it!

Considering the last buy was similiar and did not include such a robust gpu unit.. Id say 5 star all the way, especially in refurb state of condition. Sadly I see no raid options, but was not looking for such, so all is good. Cant complain when the last laptop with less gaming ability, and same atribs, Was 2.5 times more expensive 1.5-2 years ago. And the cheapest in comparison was still hundreds more then Toshiba Satellite X205-SLi2 Refurbish Notebook one. So overall very satisfied, the kid Toshiba Satellite X205-SLi2 Refurbish Notebook was for, very happy and running circles around all his friends in wow.. weeeeeee wow simply wow yes eve tested miner approved as well muhaha
