A standard 720p HD display has less than 1,000,000 display pixels, and must discard half of the original video content, resulting in decreased picture detail. On the other hand, a 1080p Full HD Display has over 2,000,000 display pixels, maintaining the full video resolution and clarity. With the Toshiba 40XV640U CineSpeed Display you can enjoy an LCD Response time of 8ms or less to ensure that the display is also fast enough for high qualityhome theater.
The Toshiba 40XV640U 40" LCD HDTV ClearFrame 120Hz can double the video frames from 60 per second to120 per second to reduce any motion blur that could be caused by fast action video. By using advanced motion vector frame interpolation, it improves pictureclarity without affecting picture brightness or adding fl icker. For those that prefer a more fi lm-like picture, there is also a 5:5 Pull-Down option available.
DynaLight Dynamic Backlight
Utilizes advanced histogram image processing to monitor the brightness level of each video frame and automatically adjusts the backlight intensity based on the image content. This precise signal analysis allows for 256 levels of backlight control and can create a Dynamic Contrast that is 7 to 10 times that of the original panel contrast.
