I had searched for quite awhile and finally found Toshiba 37" REGZA LCD HDTV great deal for $699.00, so I bought it. TV looks great in HD with the exception of very minor pixelation on some channels. When I got the TV there was a small surface scratch on the tv case about 2 in long. Inredible preformance with XBox 360, pretty good with HD, okay with Standard Definition. Overall 8/10. Shipping was complete pain, dont trust the projected date of getting the TV. Add about 3 days to when they say you will receive.

I won't lie to you and say that I was 100% behind Toshiba 37" REGZA HDTV purchase when I made it. I was looking to get into the HDTV game and this set in particular caught my eye. I had narrowed my selection down to this TV in the 32in flavor as well as the Samsung versions with similar features. I kept checking back between tigerdirect, newegg, and circuit city. When tigerdirect sent me an email letting me know that this set had dropped to $699, I knew I had to make a decision. I can honestly say that HD does make a difference. Event watching, game playing..whatever you need it for, it makes a difference. Even the digital channels that I picked up through my regular basic cable connection before I got the HD package looked great. It arrived in good shape and it took it a moment to warm up, but once it did. WOW!!! Without getting a supposed true HD signals, the digital channels that they tuner were able to intercept looked great. I can't tell you enough how sleek and elegant this set looks. A+ D

You can't beat these Toshiba REGZA TV's for the price. On a side by side comparison with a sony that costs $400 more, I thought the Toshiba actually looked better. The lack of noise, good color definition, good response time, all surprised me. Of course, as with any LCD flat panel, the blacks leave much to be desired, but that doesn't bother me, at all. The lack of noise in the picture and the good ''real world observed'' response time are more important to me, anyway. Buy this TV, it's a great deal.

Simply amazed from the first time I watched it. This set continues to blow me away compared to other TV's I own or what my friends own. It's also makes me happy knowing what I paid and the only better picture I have seen is on a set for twice as much money.

I gotta say - I was a bit skeptical buying a 37'' HDTV for the on sale price ( hundreds off for a Super Bowl special) ... but very glad I did!!!Looks great! I have heard some people are unhappy with the regular SD picture - but coming from a low end 32'' flat screen, I am happy with it (I live in an apartment complex and can't get HD through cable.)Though, my HD looks great through my over the air antenna!All-in-all ... great TV!
