Worked great for the first hour -- I even thought about getting another one for my desktop, then it crapped out. Tried everything. Switched batteries, computers, even cities. Pointer wanders on its own after resync, then dies altogether.

Great device. Thought Targus Wireless Notebook Rechargeable Laser Mouse was defective at first because I kept resetting the mouse and base to keep it working over long periods of time but I should have read the manual first!! The mouse goes asleep after 8 minutes of non-use to save battery life. When asleep all you need to do is hit a button to wake it.Now that I know this I am having no problems what so ever I threw the wired MS mouse away lint and all...
