Bought several of these for an office environment. Not one problem with any pixels on any of them like I see mentioned so often in reviews for other monitors. The speakers are a bit tinny sounding for my taste but OK for office use anyway. Earlier review says contrast ratio is 1000:1 because that's what the box the monitor comes in says. TigerDirect & Samsung website says 700:1 though. Using the DVI input everthing looks perfectly wonderful.

great picture, It's cool because I use it as a send to a dual monitor for my xp pc (extened desktop through the dvi port) and the main monitor for my ubuntu computer (vga port). I wasn't sure if it would work like that, but I haven't had any probs yet. There's a source button on the front so if I flip between the two (extended xp/ubuntu) very easily. The sound isn't the best, but it's not that bad. It comes with all the cables!!!!!, and they seem pretty good quality too. Overall I think Samsung 220WM 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor was a good buy.

I am using Samsung 220WM 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor monitor in a dual monitor setup with my tablet notebook. The picture quality is simply pristine. I love the various presets for different uses. Originally had the monitor setup with VGA and switched it to DVI and was able to notice the difference immediately. Definitely worth the price. I have not used the built-in speakers as Samsung 220WM 22" is for office use; also I would have like to see a height adjustable stand. I will purchase a Samsung, most likely the same model for my home use.

Just got the monitor this morning from tiger. Loved it since I saw it. If some of the other people who wrote reviews aren't using the DVI cable, they should really recondsider that option. Pretty much any graphics card has at least 1 DVI port on it, even on my Radeon X1050 AGP card. Compared to my old Samsung 15 in monitor on standard 15 pin D-Sub, the color quality is amazing. Watched a movie on it today was great for that and it had great response to playing games as well. And currently they have a rebate on it, so get it while you can.
