Optiquest Q241wb 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor monitor does NOT come with a DVI cable. The VGA cable worked fine but there was noticeable ''snow'' in dark areas. Changing to a DVI cable has fixed that problem. My other complaint is the base (stand) for Optiquest Q241wb 24" thing. Cheep plastic I expected but I am disappointed there is NO adjustability at all whatsoever. Not even tilt. To make it worse it seems to lean slightly forward. I placed a deck of cards under the front - that helped but come on.The display is very bright and clear, for under $400 it is a good value.One last thing, the bezel is very shiny, so much so that the start button is reflected so it almost makes me see double.

To the previous reviewer.The diplay can be adjusted, although the procedure or feature is not noted in the instruction manual. I hope Viewsonic builds a better LCD monitor then they write instruction manuals. The picture is far supperior to the 19 inch CRT monitor I was using previously. Text and color are clear and the back lit display is uniform. The auto picture adjust feature works very well and eliminates the need to fine tune the picture. Don't waste time connecting the internal monitor speakers or you will be disappointed. The overall picture quality of this monitor is excellant. The monitor speaker sound quality and documentation is poor.
