We bought ours a couple of months ago and have been very please with it. No dead pixels. It doesn't get hot. We use it for watching dvds. It has been so great not to strain our eyes while typing and reading online. The only thing that irritates us is that it can cut off the type around the border, depending upon the view. For Optiquest Q2162wb 21.6" Wide LCD Monitor being the first monitor we bought ourselves, we have been very pleased with it so far.

Great monitor... except I HAVE GONE THROUGH FOUR OF THESE! TigerDirect has been gracious enough to replace them every time for free, but the quality of these is horrible! I have had dead spots in basically every place that you could think of on Optiquest Q2162wb 21.6" monitor. the Optiquest Warranty Support is useless, so just call TigerDirect/CompUSA and they should replace it. But this is AWEFUL quality! BEWARE!

I bought this monitor and it worked great for a week. The monitor went out and I called tiger direct and they were very good and sent me another one. I hooked the second one up and it didnt work at all I thought ok its not the monitor its my video card had the computer checked out every thing was fine not my computer. I then took the monitor and put it on my wife's computer and it still didnt work. So I wont by another.

Picture was very blurry around the edges and monitor got extremely hot within 5 minutes of use. Would not purchase again.

I bought this monitor about a month ago. It operates GREAT. It's never hot, the resololution is great, and i like widescreens.It could use a few more ports on the back though, like HDMI and DVI. =P
