Worked fine for 2 weeks, went dead. Mach Speed needs to work on its customer Service!! Mach Speed has no toll free number, and customer service is open 9-5 mon-fri so I had to call long distance from work, twice. Tried to correspond via e-mail, just kept recieving ''call our Customer service number''. Sent unit back for repiar, just recieved it back, the original box was not even opened. Im throwing it away at Mach Speed Onyx 1GB MP3/MP4 Player w/ FM Tuner/ Vo point, its just not worth any more time wasted.

I bought a Onyx Mach Speed Mp3 and its the best. I accidentally left it in my jeans pocket and it actually still worked after being mixed with water and bleach in the wash. Although it's limited on a few things it's still very good. Works like new!

Bought it for the wife and she loves it. Plastic case though. No complaits. It's noy an I-Pod, buy it works just like one. Instructions a little poor, but visit Machspeed.com for complete guide. Go for it.

What annoys me is that they've limited the volume so much that I can't get my music quite loud enough. I don't need a nanny to tell me its for my own protection, I just want the volume where I want it. If you're a music lover I'd look elsewhere. Also, the menus don't always make sense, and the tunes don't always play alphabetically, which is also annoying. However, I'm hard on my player, I've even dropped it in a puddle, and it still works like new after six months of Rush Limbaugh. But since the battery is built-in so I can't change it, the lifetime of the player will be limited.
