The Dual-Band Wireless-N Gaming Adapter gives wireless connection capabilities to any wired Ethernet-equipped game console. The Game Adapter can be used in several different ways. If you have an existing home wireless network and a cable or DSL Internet connection, the Game Adapter lets your Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation2 or 3, or GameCube attach to the network so you can get into online games without running wires to the game room. Or, use a pair of Game Adapters to form a "cable-less cable" between two game consoles for head-to-head gaming -- in the same room, or all the way across the house. There's also a special "Wireless LAN Party" mode to connect several consoles at once.

I use Linksys WGA600N Dual Band Wireless N Gaming Bridge unit as a wireless NIC for my desktop computer. I'm pleased that it supports WPA2 w/AES encryption which is hard to locate in an ethernet bridge. I needed to used the advanced setup menu to configure the options as the default ''auto'' did not appear to work for me as in auto detect if TKIP or AES encryption was being used. I had to configure AES as the selection.

Works great - easy to setup. Great for devices without a wireless card and only an RJ45 (ethernet) connection. I've used in on a Playstation2 and a Media Center PC that I didn't want to run a cable to.

Excellent product works great with networking my PCs through my switch. The name ''Gaming Bridge'' can be misleading. I have had no issues other than the setup disc didnt work. I had to login to the device using Internet Explorer. I have not lost Internet connection and have been running it for about a week straight. It only has 1 port; otherwise I would have given it all 5 stars.
