We bought 10 of these last quarter for our firm. One monitor went bad after a hard bang. These things are somewhat fragile given how thin these monitors are. Repair through warranty was only 7 days turnaround which is great. A hard case would be nice to keep it protected. Overall, great portable monitor for the money. Hyvision MV142 14" Widescreen LCD is the only monitor i found that fits inside a brief case, weighing less than 5 lbs. Tigerdirect shipped fast. Two thumbs up!

I bought one from tiger retail store. Picture does not do its justice as Hyvision MV142 14" product is the most slim monitor i've ever seen and very light i might add. It's perfect for small space for general use. My accessories were missing but tiger swapped it out for me with easy. Thanks Tiger.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago and put it on one of my servers in a closet and it has been working fine the whole time. Never any problems and depedable.

If you can get a good one (i.e. no dead pixels or other screen defects), this monitor is unbeatable for size - perfect for the road warrior who needs to pack a second monitor with their laptop. Bad news was I had to hand select mine -- 4 bad ones (1 or more bad pixels), before the 5th was good. And delicate - get a solid hard case for it.

My firm purchased approximately 25 of these monitors 8 months ago. Less than half of them still work. The others are filling up landfill space. Some last only lasted three months. Only buy these if your willing to throw it in the trash after any normal use.
