The Outdoor Omni-Directional Antenna emits a powerful amplified signal over a 360 degree radius., delivering a strong multidirection signal from an Access Point or a Bridge. If you have multiple locations or buildings where you would like to integrate your wireless network, simply place the HAO15SIP in between the buildings with your Acess Point. It is most effective when placed at the top of buildings or in the center of large rooms. The HAO15SIP also comes with a mounting kit, connectors, and a surge protector.

Hawking HAO15SIP Hi-Gain 15dBi Wireless Antenna thing is a piece of crap. I installed it on the roof of my office building and when standing in the driveway looking straight at my antennea, (clear line of sight )I get ''Good'' signal strength. Whe I walk another 35 ft I get ''Fair'' and then ''Poor'' signal strength. Why does the product description say ''Whether your application requires extending a wireless signal from one building to another....'' I can't even use it 50' away, outside in view of my antennae let alone in another building.I think Hawking HAO15SIP Hi-Gain 15dBi Wireless Antenna was a waist of money and time. Hawking HAO15SIP Hi-Gain 15dBi Wireless Antenna is false advertising.

Expensive, but it can do a great job when properly mounted. The higher the better, with as clear a view of the desired coverage area as possible. The antenna is made of very high quality components and comes with a lightning suppressor and mounting hardware. It does not come with a cable, and it has an 'N' style connector, which is suitable for outdoors and is a good low lose connector. You will also need a suitable grounding wire.

This antenna is awesome. It extended the range of my router about 3000 ft with it mounted outside on a pole about 10ft off the ground. It even sends the signal clearly through trees. I highly recommend it.

This antenna is just what I needed to get wi-fi to all the rooms in my motel!! Previous to installing this antenna I only had service in 16 of 22 rooms. Now even the farthest room from the router has three bars! Also the building is made of concrete block and the signal still gets through. This antenna is made with very high quality material and installs very simply. I would recomend this product to any body that needs far reaching wi-fi!! To the previous reviewer the antenna is not realy made to send a signal straight down to the ground from the roof of an office building. Just check out the signal diagrams in the packaging. Not up or down, just out very well!
