not a bad little computer - needs more mem then 1mb -a little (slow) needs 2mb or more - would buy again

Nothing better out there for the value of 1GB RAM and a real 60HDD. I installed Windows XP Home on my mine is the performance really skyrocketed. The Linux OS that comes with it is buggy and slow to the point where YouTube videos were all choppy. Now with XP Everex CloudBook CE1201V Notebook thing plays videos flawlessly and is quite fast running MS Office Professional to the point where I now use it instead of my Dell D630 core duo laptop. Using applications like Visio and complex spreadsheet macros is quite fast. To say that I'm very happy with Everex CloudBook CE1201V netbook is an understatement. I also own an ASUS PC900 20G also with XP Home and the Cloudbook is much faster as I've found the SSD drives not be very fast for random I/O plus the fact that you have to jump to through hoops constantly to keep the small 4GB bootable partition from filling up. All in all the Cloudbook works flawlessly, it is fast enough for business work, light as a feather, great 3.5 hour battery life and everyone just falls in love with it.

I received my cloudbook and was over joyed until i fired up the computer to find it had a dead pixel left center on the screen and as always everytime you look at the screen your eyes are drawn to the white spot on the screen. I am returning it and hopefully the next one will be better.
