I'll start with the good points: the EOC 3220+ is very powerful for the price. I have it installed on the side of my garage 75' away, and even at the farthest point inside my house I get 36Mbps (with the signal passing thru a brick wall and 2 interior walls). My INDOOR 3Com wap was hitting about 11Mbps as a comparison. Unit mounts on flat surfaces and has a pole mount. Now the bad points: see the pic with all the parts in it? There are no hardware instructions and no parts list for any of it-not a word. If you aren't mechanically inclined you better find someone who is. Pre-made cables won't fit through the weatherproof connector cap...I had to file the inside of the cap to make it fit-no biggie. There is no software, setup is via browser. The unit comes with a fixed IP address, so if you set DHCP to client mode, you get booted out of setup and can't get back in. Make sure all other settings are good before changing DHCP setting!!!
