Works as intended. We were very happy to find such a cheap alternative to the very expensive hard waterproof cases made for our Canon SD1000 Digital Elph. It works as described, the only drawbacks we found is that the camera is a bit loose inside the case so we had to reposition it before turning it on, or else the lens would not open in the lens opening. The other drwback we found was that it is somewhat difficult to control the buttons on the camera through the rubbery plastic case, but it is manageable. We used it mainly for splashproof purposes although we did take it into the pool with us and it did not have any problems.
