Diamond Radeon HD 3870 512MB PCIe Reviews

Awesome Vid card. Got the factory OC'd version at 800/1126 Mhz GPU clock/Mem clock (reference post for item D10-3876). Easily OC'd with ATI Catalyst 8.10. Running on AMD Phenom 9550, MSI K9A2 CF-F MB, 4Gb Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800 Mhz in Ultra X-Blaster case w/ 2x120 mm Thermaltake fans. Runs cool always. Half-life 2 max everything including A/A at 1680 x 1050 233-298 FPS. Crysis DX 10.1 everything medium 1680 x 1050 28/18 fps (AA off/on), 1280 x 1024 33/23 fps. Best value in mid-level to lower high-level vid cards (compare to 8800 GTX). Worth the money and then some, can't wait to CrossFire.

Impressive performance in Crossfire mode. Can run Crysis 1680x1050 at High settings smoothly, as well as Assassins Creed. Good scaling (11900 for a single card, 16400 for dual cards in Crossfire mode)

Runs really fast; compared to 8800, was only 4 frames per second slower. It has no vga!! but you can buy an adaptor. No HDMI connector...when will video card mfcrs' be putting HDMI on cards, and not just DVI? Major downfall: Diamond Radeon HD 3870 512MB PCIe Diaomond Card takes up 2.5 slots, so you CAN'T use the second slot on board; it's rendered useless because of the size of Diamond Radeon HD 3870 512MB PCIe card.

Incredibly sick and just freakin' wicked card. Seriously, if you have this card in crossfire you are REALLY expirencing gaming. Just one of these will bring your gaming richer than most of the 8800's, and smoother than most of them too. Its a monster it plays crysis great and tf2 at 100+ fps.A definite monster that the most extreme computers have. Also, it hardly takes any power, never overheats, and looks freakin sexy. Plays great at every resolution and is a monster for lighting effects. Nothing like a 512mb GDDR4, 775 core clock, 2400 memory clock BEAST. buy it sucka
