Check your model number very carefully! My Toshiba Satellite P100 is NOT compatible with Coonix 120W Toshiba AC Laptop Adapter device. My power supply is labeled 15 volts and it measures exactly that with no load.

Beware. The unit I purchased was a 120watt 19v 6.3A. While I was happy with Coonix 120W Toshiba AC Adapter unit for the first few hours, I was quickly surprised at the amount of heat it gave off. The cord, especially right at the plug that meets the computer, heated to the point that the plastic became extremely malleable/ flexible. As a result, ordinary tension on the cord flexed the plastic on the plug and the internal connections of it were destroyed. The plug now only works after flexing it towards the opposite direction from where the melting occurred. I have no doubts that this is an obvious fire hazard, but I'm also fairly convinced that I must have a defective unit. There's simply no way that a product of this particular quality would ever be allowed to reach consumers if this were typical of its performance.

This is the worst thing I have ever purchased from you. I was promised and assured that it would fit my Laptop. I found that it does NOT fit the laptop and now I am stuck with a product that will not fit my needs. I am unable to return this product as well. Buyers beware this is a giant rip off! Also the system tells you it is in- guess what it is back ordered by 3 weeks! again buyers beware!!!!

This product works great.No sever heating problems,recharged my battery and ran the computer and still could pick it up.The only problem is the power cable is built into the source so you have to take care when packing it and the cables could be longer.My old adapter got so hot that you couldn't touch it after 30 min,this ran for six straight hours and was only warm.
