Adesso Illuminated Keyboard
Adesso Illuminated Keyboard Description
Adesso Multimedia Illuminated USB Keyboard
The Adesso Illuminated keyboard puts the light only where it is needed, on the keyboard. This eliminates the glare from task lighting, helps prevent eyestrain and makes the keys easy to see. In this day and age, with eyestrain from computing is so prevalent, many people have tried to remove the cause of the strain: THE GLARE. This product has the potential to reduce symptoms of computer vision syndrome (CVS), such as eyestrain and headaches. In addition to improving night vision, it enhances your computing environment by creating a relaxed, ambient atmosphere, conducive to working on those late night projects!
It includes 18 multimedia functions found across the top of the keyboard and these are split into 2 groups. On the left we have (from left to right) - Internet Home, Email, Back, Forward, Search, Refresh, Favorites, Stop, Webcam/Mediaplayer, ect. The rear of the keyboard is shaped with a curving lift to the rear to elevate the back of the keyboard in the same manner as a regular keyboard would use the pull out feet.

Adesso Illuminated Keyboard Reviews

Layout of board is messed up. Hate having to constantly search for the backspace and delete keys. Looks cool, but after only using Adesso Illuminated Keyboard board for a couple of weeks I'm frustrated enough that I'm looking for a new keyboard. The husband HATES it. I love a lighted keyboard but Adesso Illuminated Keyboard one isn't going to last long with the way I type.

I really like this keyboard when I first got it. The illimination was spiffy, and it has a smaller footprint than a full sized keyboard while still maintaining all the functionality. However after having it less than a month the lettering on the keys that got the most use started to chip away. Fortunately I am a touch typist so I was still able to use it, however Adesso Illuminated Keyboard was a real issue for my husband. Over time many of the keys totally lost any lettering and the keyboard illumination faded considerably. If you want an illuminated keyboard I highly recommend you get the FireFly Borealis. Same price, same size, MUCH better quality!

I got this keyboard about a year and a half ago and have been very happy with it. No problems with sticky keys or anything else but now the light quit...maby this is normal use I don't know. I'll let you-all know how much problem it is to fix the light inside once I have it fixed.

i've had this keyboard for about a year now, it's ok for typing- minus the stiff keys i get at times(sometimes damn near impossible to push) gaming isn't too bad(except for those damn sticky keys)My reason for the poor rating(aside from the above mentioned key and there stuckness) are the backspace button being only one key(located in between '=' and home[so i hit = a lot instead of back which used to anger me until it happened too often that i stopped caring]and home on the other side angered me enough that it is no longer on my board), my space bas quite working on occasion, the wire is slowly pulling away from the keyboard, that damn sleep button right next to the light button, Del button position, ... i gave it a 2, because of the comments i received on the glow of it, and the convenient buttons for a media player at the top
